Opportunity for Visionary Production Manager

You are someone that can think outside the cabinet: ready to jump in, solve problems, and make things happen while making cabinets. We’re seeking a highly capable and experienced person to help take our production to the next level. You’re probably already employed but perhaps would better enjoy a more challenging role, one that calls on your practical skills and vast experience where you can make a big, measurable impact. You’ve also done it all, from job site evaluation, solution development, manufacturing all the way through installation. You’ve probably been referred to as a trouble-shooter, smokejumper or that go-to person...like the USMC, you adapt and overcome. You’ll be able to exercise your expertise in cabinet manufacturing utilizing state-of-the-art nested-base/CNC driven processes.
Abodian implements the latest in design software and machinery to make our production as efficient, stream-lined, and error-free as possible. To that end, you have aptitude and facility (read: lots of experience) working in Cabinet Vision v5 and v6 (and previous versions). Some exposure to Tenon-Cam would also be helpful. Your reasonable amount of in-shop cabinet making skills will also provide valuable insight to this full-time management position. Your experience in lean manufacturing and implementation of 6 Sigma principals would be helpful too.

The right person for this role will understand the creation of a total cabinetry solution in a variety of residential and commercial applications. Production efficiency, material utilization, assisting with development of inter and intra departmental tracking mechanisms, equipment maintenance, safety programs and recruiting, incentivizing, training and managing production staff, all lead the list of the responsibilities you seek to manage. We’d be remiss not to mention the other usual requisites like problem-solver extraordinaire, natural team player, ‘can-do’ work style, etc.
