Senior Cabinet Maker
Presently we are seeking a special person to take on the role of Senior Cabinet Maker
The right person for this job will have experience in and enjoy the challenge of manufacturing and assembling cabinets, be able to communicate and problem solve, and be willing to roll up their sleeves to make a measurable impact on the production team and in a growing enterprise. If you are looking to be a major player in an entrepreneurial, exciting environment, want to be a part of a dynamic and growing team, and are perhaps happy with your current employment situation but are looking for something a bit more exciting, challenging, and rewarding, then you might be the person we are looking for. You’ll be able to exercise your familiarity with CNC, edge-banding, and related operations as well as contribute to new process development and improvement.

Marketing Manager
Abodian, Inc. continues its quest for exceptional talent. We are currently looking for someone to fill the role of Marketing Manager. If you are energetic, creative, and a problem-solver with a knack for words and an interest in making a measurable impact in an entrepreneurial environment, then this could be the ideal position for you. You’re probably already employed, but could get excited about taking the lead in a more independent position within a quickly growing enterprise.
Marketing responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with and managing Abodian’s relationship with our contracted graphic and web design teams
- Writing copy for Abodian’s website and working with our design team on site development and upkeep
- Writing copy for advertisements, brochures, and other printed and online materials
- Working with our graphic designer on the look and layout of our printed materials (familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite is handy)
- Promoting the Abodian brand and ensuring its consistency
- Identifying new advertising and marketing opportunities and monitoring their effectiveness
- Assisting the sales department in tracking, qualifying, and monitoring the cost of leads
- Assisting the sales department in building and maintaining a customer/contact database
- Maintaining regular customer communications
- Managing our customer appreciation and referral programs
- Maintaining a lively social media presence
- Seeking editorial exposure
- Planning ahead to expand marketing efforts and consider new outlets, avenues, and approaches
- Establishing a marketing budget
- Assisting with R&D based on market research and response
Additionally, we’re a small shop with an entrepreneurial culture. Everyone has to wear a couple of hats, so the marketing department is also responsible for helping to keep the office functional and productive. Some administrative and general responsibilities include:
- Purchasing and inventorying office supplies
- Answering the phone, being nice, and giving the phone to someone that knows what they’re talking about.
- Assisting the accounting and sales departments with invoicing
- Writing and posting employment opportunities and managing incoming resumes
- Sometimes, you’ll get the mail!

Cabinet Vision Engineer
Abodian, Inc. continues its quest for exceptional talent for our engineering department. You may already be employed, but perhaps you’re seeking an opportunity to exercise your skills in a more visible and impactful arena. Abodian implements the latest in design software and machinery to make our production as efficient, stream-lined, and error-free as possible. To that end, you have aptitude and facility (read: lots of experience) working in Cabinet Vision 4.2 and 5, and some exposure to Tenon-Cam. Occasionally you’ll write or amend a UCS, want to show your prowess in developing libraries, update catalogues and improve the effectiveness of the bid center. You’ll also find interest in making CV5 a useful tool for our more occasional team members (sales folks). Your reasonable amount of in-shop cabinet making skills will also provide valuable insight to this full-time engineering position. We’d be remiss not to mention the other usual requisites like problem-solver extraordinaire, natural team player, ‘can-do’ work style, etc.
